Xiaomi Poco introduced the Poco M4 Pro 5G last November with Dimensity 810 SoC and today the company announced its more affordable vanilla version with Dimensity 700.

 

The Poco M4 5G runs MIUI based on Android 12.13 and comes in two storage configurations – 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB. It also has a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 512GB.

The Dimensity 700 smartphone features a 6.58" 90Hz FullHD+ LCD, protected by Gorilla Glass 3 and has a notch for an 8MP selfie camera. The panel supports adaptive refresh rate,  which means it is 30Hz, 60Hz. and can switch between 60Hz   depending on the content type.

The rear panel of the Poco M4 5G, which Poco calls Hypnotic Swirl Design, houses two cameras – a 50MP primary and a 2MP depth unit.

 

Other highlights of the Poco M4 5G include a side fingerprint reader, 3.5mm headphone jack, Hi-Res Audio, USB-C and IP52 certification.

The whole package is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 18W wired and 5W reverse wired charging. However, the included adapter is 22.5W

Poco M4 5G is offered in three colors

And it will be available for purchase via Flipkart from May 5.

 Its 4GB/64GB model costs INR 12,999 ($170/€160),

while the 6GB/128GB version will cost INR 14,999 ($195/€185). However, those who purchase the smartphone using their SBI credit card are eligible for a limited-time discount of INR 2,000 ($26/2000pkr)
