The Reno8 series has been in China for nearly two months now, but this is the first time the Reno8 and Reno8 Pro are stepping outside their home country. The global performances of the handsets are slightly different from their Chinese counterparts, though the changes are negligible.                                                                    

The focus of this review will be the vanilla Reno 8, and it barters the depth detector on the                                   Chinese interpretation for a full camera – an 8MP ultrawide, to be exact. Rest of the details are enough much the same.

Oppo is particularly proud to use Sony's 50MP IMX766 detector as the main shooter, which is relatively large-1/1.56" and offers1.0 µm pixels. On the front, the Reno8 packs an Oppo-exclusive 32MP IMX709 detector. which allows for RGBW. bettered selfie performance. This is one of the phone's selling points, still, it's important to note that the Reno 8 Pro has the exact same camera setup, so if the camera Performance is your top precedence, so the Reno8 will presumably do just that, being significantly cheaper than the Pro.

The vanilla option also does not skip fast charging. The same,500 mAh battery supports Oppo's 80W SuperVOOC charging protocol, although countries with 110V power grids can only get 66W from a single slip up.

It's worth noting that the Oppo Reno8 is nearly identical to the OnePlus Nord 2T. The main difference between the two is the design and the zilches. OnePlus' OxygenOS is still a bit cleaner than Oppo's ColorOS, so it depends on Bone's particular preferences for Android skins.
